“When I first climbed the hill on which Can Caterina is built, the view took my breath away and I knew I wanted to create a contemporary version of the traditional ibiza finca that I was living in. I wanted the charm, the solidity of the thick walls, the natural plaster, the local stone on the floor, the olive and lemon groves, the stone terrace walls, a courtyard, the soul and the history that make a home, however I also wanted views from inside the house, a seamless flow between inside and outside, Aircon and underfloor heating and a roof that didn’t leak.” Cate Watts
